23 April:  John Moore wins BICC Minor;  NHS v Selkirk A

John Moore has won the BICC Minor title by beating Mark Gardiner and drawing with Alan Armstrong in the playoff. With Mark beating Alan on Tuesday night this meant that John was the winner with 1½/2. Full details on the BICC Matches page...

23 Apr 2025: NHS 1½ Selkirk A 2½

Selkirk A travelled to the BGH on Tuesday night, and came away winners by 2½ to 1½, thanks to wins by Dave Bogle and Mark Gardiner, and a draw by Sam Cornwell.  Full results (and the Bogle-Gimbutis game) on the League Matches page...

League schedule changes

The 06 May match between Gala and Selkirk B will now be played at the Town Arms, and not the Waverley Bowling Club. The Kelso v Selkirk B match, originally scheduled for 22 April, will now be played at a later date. 03 June has been pencilled in, but this is still to be confirmed.

Selkirk tournaments

Three games were played on the 22nd in the Town Arms: in the Championship, Bill Miller beat Chris Nathan, and John Moore beat Ian Thompson.  In the under-1200s, Sam Cornwell beat Steve Leckie.
